In order to commemorate the fact that its own moon watch successfully assisted the astronauts facing electronic equipment failure in the Apollo 13 mission and was awarded the Silver Snoopy Award by NASA, OMEGA launched the Speedmaster Snoopy watch in 2003 and 2015. Until recently, the brand finally released the latest 3rd generation Speedmaster series "Snoopy Silver Award" commemorative watch as everyone expected.
The appearance of the new Speedmaster Snoopy commemorative watch continues the style of the previous generation, including the 42mm stainless steel case and the lower three-eye chronograph dial, etc., but the latest third-generation interpretation of the Snoopy medal pattern is still different from the predecessor; the pattern of the first generation is colorful, while the third generation has a white Snoopy medal pattern engraved on the blue small dial, and the words "50th Anniversary" are added above the pattern. In addition, if you look closely at the 12 o'clock position on the dial near the pointer, Omega has written the words " Ag925 " in an intaglio manner, indicating that the dial is made of silver, which slightly echoes the story of NASA's Silver Snoopy Award.

A feature of the first two generations of Speedmaster Snoopy watches is that the viewability of the case back is no less than that of the dial, but they are all static images. With the third generation, Omega has a new idea - and it is a dynamic expression. When you turn to the back of the third generation watch, you will be surprised to find the moon in the foreground and the earth in the background, plus the starry universe around it, and there is also Snoopy in a flight suit sitting on a space shuttle. The moon is made using a unique microstructure metallization technology and is decorated on the back of the sapphire crystal case. In addition, the earth pattern is not just a decoration. In fact, it moves with the small second hand on the dial, rotating once a minute. Also moving is Snoopy sitting on the space shuttle. Once the wearer starts the chronograph function, the Snoopy pattern will rotate counterclockwise and even disappear under the moon in the middle. It will reappear at about five o'clock, as if running along the orbit.
